6° Streaming Festival – Global Opening – Den Haag/Milano
“Motion based collages reloaded” screening
Dal 1 al 18 dicembre 2011 al [.BOX] inaugurerà il secondo “dutch december” grazie alla collaborazione con the Streaming Festival di Den Haag, Olanda.
In simultanea con l’apertura del festival, il nostro spazio milanese presenterà il best of dalla 6° Edizione 2011, per condividere l’inaugurazione del festival olandese anche in Italia e solo a Milano presso [.BOX] Videoart project Space.
Inoltre, nello stesso periodo su VisualcontainerTV International Videoart webchannel, verrà presentata una rassegna video complemetare con altri 9 artisti selezionati dallo Streaming Festival.

“In the traditional collage different materials and sources are composed onto a surface, but in this case, into a single digital video.
This program is based on films using found footage, multiple video-channels, paintings and photographs that are rearranged, cut and (re-)edited into a layered composition.Motion based collages offer the possibility to the artist to make a statement without the need for an explicit explanation of their rearrangement or intentions, as they are open to interpretation by comparing the different visual elements.” – ISFTH Foundation, 2011
