\nSince the world is made this way,<\/strong><\/em>
\nour dreams must be even more tenacious. (Abdellatif La\u00e2bi)<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

“In France, and not only as the events were global, the year 2018 will see here and there thrilling or pathetic celebrations of the lovely month of May 1968.
\nIn our case, the poetic and emancipatory vibe of the hundred thousand flowers of May continues to stimulate delightfully our imagination. And our nostalgia is only for the future.
\nWe have the dream of a spring which will make us see May 1968 (events) as a poor rehearsal of the great international upheaval to come:
\nCulture will not anymore be the rattle of the privileged few in desperate search of thrills.
\nSexual deprivation, scrupulously planned by the coalition of the religious, the States and the traders of erotic-romantic dreams imitating the dominant\/dominated relationships spread by the culture and leisure industry, will just be an old nightmare converted into a richness of consensual and shared pleasures.
\nWork, released from the class struggle, will be an endless source of imaginative fulfilment.
\nGlobal warming cultivated by the veneration of technocratic progress and the growth for the Growth, will be changed into a warming of human relationships and a poetic and passionate disruption of the senses.
\nThe organised crime against migrants will be replaced by a natural hospitality for newcomers, and will celebrate melting pots resulting from joyful and multicoloured close-combat.
\nPalestine will be free, with the only mission to be the peace adviser for the word\u2019s last belligerents corrupted by war-mongering stupidity or the cult of virility.
\nNo-one will have to kneel down anymore, apart to pick four-leaf clovers or to pull the petals from a daisy.
\nAnd above all: etc. etc. etc.
\nArtists of the world unite! To make the 31st edition of the festival a celebration of our indomitable imaginations. Let\u2019s believe in our very intimate utopias as the realities longing to flourish in our garden. Video art is the poetic flower to brandish in front of the blind eyes of dream-breakers. Let\u2019s make the Festival 2018 a general assembly of works and artists non-aligned on the market criteria, and looking to a shining future.

“L’elemento comune che collega arte e politica \u00e8 che sono entrambi fenomeni del mondo pubblico”. Cio\u00e8, avere un interesse per l’arte in modo politico significa essere qualcuno “che sa scegliere la sua compagnia tra gli uomini, tra le cose, tra i pensieri, nel presente come nel passato.” (Hannah Arendt).<\/p>\n

Dal 1988, il festival Les Instants Vid\u00e9o \u00e8 un festival dedicato alle arti video, digitali e poetiche (monobands, installazioni, performance, multimedia …). Si tiene ogni novembre a Marsiglia, a Friche la Belle de Mai, ma sia prima che dopo, agiamo in concerto con i partner per organizzare gli eventi del festival in altri spazi a Marsiglia, nella regione … e all’estero. Ci piace nominare l’intera programmazione di eventi come una costellazione poetica. Non c’\u00e8 competizione, l’ingresso \u00e8 aperto e gratuito, cos\u00ec come il bando di partecipazione aperto da gennaio a giugno. \u00c8 tutto insieme un festival e un laboratorio in cui artisti e opere d’arte di fama internazionale possono incontrare opere che sono pi\u00f9 fragili, ancora in corso, delicate.<\/p>\n
