Vernissage 15 – 16 Novembre – H 18.30 – 21<\/p>\n

\u00a0‘The Mystical Self’ \u00e8 un progetto particolarmente significativo concepito come un tour exhibtion che dopo ARTVerona, \u00e8 ospitato in Italia presso [.BOX] Videoart project space, a cura di Visualcontainer.<\/p>\n

\u00a0In questa occasione il progetto verr\u00e0 presentato in versione integrale, comprendendo artisti che non sono stati presentati ad Artverona2011.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Inoltre nel 2012, lo show sara’ presentato in zone particolarmente sensibili rispetto al tema trattato facendo tappa al Cairo, in Nepal e in Cina.<\/p>\n

\u00a0E’ possibile tentare di esprimere una coscienza religiosa, senza gli orpelli di dogmi tradizionali?
\nSenza dei\/divinit\u00e0, chiese o alcuna semplice e rassicurante connessione con la morale?
\nE’ ipotizzabile un mondo non consolato da un immaginario religioso a noi familiare?
\nIn che modo l’arte contemporanea affronta l’idea di spiritualit\u00e0?
\nE come gli artisti lavorano sui comuni concetti di fede, meditazione e simbologia religiosa?”<\/p>\n

\u00a0Cecilia Freschini is an independent curator and art writer based in China. In 2009 she was Director and Curator of the Chinese Pavilion at the 4th Prague Biennial, with the project \u201cChina Box\u201d. After working partnerships with National Art Museums in Verona, Palazzo Forti, and in Bologna with GAM, and with private galleries, in 2005 Cecilia moved to China. Fascinated by the dynamic environment in China she has curatored several cultural projects between Europe and China. She has specialized in contemporary Chinese visual and performing arts, succeeding in organizing several exchanges and collaborations with international galleries, institutions, art fairs and magazines.<\/p>\n
