“Time has been an irreplaceable illusion which we base our entire lives upon, and there are moments which urge us to wish we could cut into time and re-edit our stories.
\nThe videos selected for this project are woven with undertones of the impact of time and how subtle, yet powerful its role is in our lives.<\/p>\n

Translucent<\/span> Video<\/span> Art Festival<\/span><\/strong> \u00e8 un’iniziativa di<\/span> Chameleon<\/span> Art Projects, piattaforma dedicata alla\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0sperimentazione<\/span> video<\/span>\u00a0Indiana. il\u00a0festival<\/span> si propone di<\/span> costruire<\/span> una piattaforma di<\/span> video arte<\/span> in India<\/span>, che favorisce la pratica<\/span> e e\u00a0incoraggia la sperimentazione video\u00a0<\/span>soprattutto<\/span> per gli artisti<\/span> emergenti<\/span> del paese<\/span>.

Translucent<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0presenta\u00a0video<\/span> e film\u00a0provenienti dai\u00a0<\/span>pi\u00f9 influenti<\/span> e promettenti<\/span> artisti<\/span> e registi<\/span> provenienti dall’India<\/span>. Molti di<\/span> questi film<\/span> sono stati<\/span> proiettati<\/span> in gallerie<\/span>, istituzioni e<\/span> importanti<\/span> festival cinematografici<\/span> di tutto il<\/span> mondo<\/span> e<\/span> sono stati\u00a0fondamentali<\/span> per il cambiamento culturale del Paese.<\/span><\/p>\n

Chameleon Art Projects<\/strong> \u00e8 una iniziativa di incoraggiare pratiche artistiche in tutto il mondo attraverso curato mostre, residenze, pubblicazioni e gestione artista.<\/p>\n

Il Chameleon \u00e8 stato istituito nel 2005,\u00a0tutti i progetti sono stati successivamente archiviati sotto un unico nome dal novembre 2011. \u00a0The Chameleon \u00e8 entrato in prima linea, convergendo tutte le sue esperienze \u00a0nella comunit\u00e0 artistica indiana, con l’obiettivo di stabilire basi forti per i giovani artisti sperimentali. La sperimentazione \u00a0inter-culturale \u00a0di \u00a0The Chameleon negli anni \u00e8 stata favorita inoltre da un\u00a0da un forte scambio internazionale che coinvolge gli artisti emergenti indiani.<\/p>\n

Kanchi Mehta<\/strong>, artista, fondatore e Chief Curator di\u00a0Chameleon Art Projects , laureata \u00a0in Pittura alla \u00a0Sir JJ School of Art, Mumbai e master post \u00a0laurea in History and Connoisseurship in Art from Christie’s Education,New York nel 2005,si dedica allo studio\u00a0dell’arte contemporanea collaborando con importanti gallerie, fiere, artisti, biennali, curatori e collezionisti di tutto il mondo.<\/p>\n
